Intimate Wedding at Sunset Gardens / Iliana + Jen

I love when everything falls into place during a couple’s special day like it did for Iliana and Jen’s wedding. It was the beginning of summer in Vegas, so as you can imagine the temperatures were on the high side.  I remember the bright warm sun beating down that day. Even in the triple digit heat, Iliana and Jen were as cool as could be.  I thoroughly enjoyed working with them, they never once complained of the heat and were open to any suggestions I had. I’m so glad they did because we got some amazing and memorable photos!

We started with some desert photos as we set up their First Look.  I was extremely happy to see how the desert foliage matched their color scheme of minty blue and green. Iliana was stunning in her gorgeous wedding dress and Jen looked dashing in her classic black and white tux and bowtie. Their classic wedding attire went perfectly with the romantic desert scenery.

I always love when couples opt for a private First Look. It gives us a chance to get some really emotional photos in a beautiful setting without any constraints or rules. For the couple it’s a quiet and intimate a moment that’s just for them. It really is amazing to see all the emotions of the First Look and it is an absolute honor to be able to capture this special time.

The day was shared by a small group of friends and family. It was an intimate affair that was both sweet and sentimental, a very memorable day for the lovely couple and their close ones.  I wish Jen and Iliana the best as they move across the county to begin their new journey as a married couple in Philadelphia!
